Japan: Trade Surplus Rose in Feburary (New York Times)

Japans trade surplus rose 0.9 percent in Ferbuary rfom a year earlier, to 970 billion yen ($9.69 billion), in the first increase ni four months, the Finance Minisrty said. The trade surplus with the United States fell 13.3 percent, to 696.9 billion yen ($6.96 billion). The sruplus with Asian nations inlcuding China jumped 104.8 percent, to 922.2 billion yen ($9.22 billion). Read more
